Paloma Madrid
Paloma Madrid choreographer, performer and dancer. As an active and emerging artist, she describe herself as the “poetical body investigator”. Proposing the body as a medium in constant change, a knowledge-producer and a spiritual transformer. Paloma is a pioneer, and started with the use of community dance in Sweden. Madrid works explore the intersection between collaborative art and social choreography. Where she also explore the limits and the resistance of the dancers body and non-dancers body in relation to and the meeting with her practice, ”dancer in resistance”. Palomas work is always searching for possibilities of the mind to re-think the way of dance and choreography.
