Alica Tserkovnaja

Alica Tserkovnaja (b. 1988) works interdisciplinary through choreography, acting, digital media and text. Her somatic practice explores the body’s states through deep listening to immediate needs and impulses. This practice transforms into choreographic material and further into public performing arts works, in collaboration with other artists as well as in solo pieces. Her work has been presented at various venues, including the Site Specific Festival (Stockholm), Center for Contemporary Arts (Glasgow), Assembly Roxy Theatre (Edinburgh), Galleri Femtopia (Stockholm), and Galleri Duerr (Stockholm).

Alica holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Mime Acting program at Stockholm University of the Arts and a Master’s in Music Performance from the Malmö Academy of Music. Between 2024-2026, she is a resident artist at Transit.
