Emma Löfström
Emma Löfström is an artist and illustrator, with a degree from Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art (London). Working across drawing, collage and moving image her work reflects upon the drawing process in an era within which we have become accustomed to seeing, making and distributing vast amounts of images. Recent projects include On the Edge of Time at Space Art+Technology, London; Cabinet of Unnatural History at Flora ars+natura, Bogotá; Strange Cities at Onassis Cultural Centre, Athens and Dis Play at Lugar a Dudas, Cali. She is currently working on a project that began in the archives of the Natural History Museum in London, investigating the systems of myth and meaning that shape our understanding of the natural world. Commissions include projects for The Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden, Stockholms Stadsteater, London Fashion Week and University of the Arts London.
