Hanna Nygårds

Hanna Nygårds is a freelance actor and theatre director who graduated from Luleå Teaterhögskola in 2018. In the years since, she has been both directing and acting on stage, including at Strindbergs intima teater (Scener ur ett äktenskap), Borås Stadsteater (Brända Tomten, regi), Dalateatern (Ödesmärkt) and Ö2 scenkonst (Efter Fedra, direction and script).

Hanna is particularly interested in the craft of physical acting and has studied Body and Voice Art in Berlin, which has inspired her directing and acting. Her work investigates physical theatrical expression and how it can carry story. Her plays often explore the space where theatre and dance intersect.
