Sarah Olsson
Sarah Olsson (1991) is a filmmaker from the west coast of Sweden, currently based in Stockholm. She was educated at Alma Löv screenwriting academy.
Sarah has previously worked as a film producer and editor. In 2018, she co-founded the production company Carbs Film, based in Malmö and Stockholm.
In 2022, she had her directorial debut with the documentary film Black Angels, a feel good/feel sad about life and death, where the viewers follows an undertaker at a funeral home, planning their best friend’s funeral.
Sarah’s creative process delves into inner conflicts and contradictions of being human, and often mixes genres like horror and sci-fi with drama. She is currently in development with RAN, a scripted feature length film about rural politics and monsters.
