I devote myself to text and literature in various forms. I write, podcast and edit as well as organize and participate in various literary events.

In my writing I examine various sexuality issues in general and LGBTQ+ issues in particular. Right now I am working on a poetry collection about how gay men’s longing for closeness and care has been expressed in public settings. I also write essays and reports for magazines and newspapers and am interested in translation.

For the past fifteen years, I have worked with large and small cultural events, as a primary school teacher, educating adults and youth on sexuality issues, and writing reportage, poetry, criticism and essays for narrow and broad magazines. An important part of my literary practice has collectivist and activist dimensions, where alone or together with others I create platforms to highlight different literary voices from the queer community in the Nordics, among other things through the Bögbibblan and Prisma Literature Prize projects.

I am a trained subject teacher in Swedish and biology for the later years of primary school and upper secondary school. I have a master’s degree in literature from Uppsala University and have also studied, among other things, pedagogy, gender studies and sexology, as well as trained in writing at Biskops Arnös Författarskola and in the writing department at Skurup Folkhögskola. 

At Transit, I’m looking for an anchor and a safe harbor for my writing. I long for collaborations and connections, plenty of time for my own creation and dream of building a (literally) poetic labyrinth for the reader/visitor to get lost in.
