Ida Mirow

Ida Mirow is a poet, writer and director, working across literature, stage and film. She is interested in responsibility, individuality, individualism and will; sexuality, the body, consumption and transience, and in how narratives and perspectives are constructed. Her debut book of poetry, Den mjukaste vännen, was published in 2022 by It-lit, and her poetry and prose has appeared in a number of Scandinavian and American periodicals.

Since 2018, she runs the online literary magazine Pralin Magasin as its founder and one of its editors. She has also taught creative writing and worked as a dramaturg for theatre and dance productions. In 2026, she is working on the short film Hästens historia, for which she is the screenwriter and director. The film was developed in collaboration with Film Sthlm as part of the talent program Nya röster STHLM 2025.

She is educated at, among others, the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, with a master’s degree in Performance Practice as Research. P
