Alexandra Sundqvist
Alexandra Sundqvist is a poet and journalist, born in 1986 in Boden and raised by the Lule River.
She made her debut in 2017 with a biography about the acclaimed swedish singer/songwriter Barbro Hörberg. Since then, she has published the novel “Tvångsamheten” (”The force of love”), the poetry pamphlet “Förlora & fauna” (”Lost & faun”) and “Matriarkenmarken” (”Mother, earth”) – a collection of poems about hydroelectric power, sisterhood, whales, madness, engine heaters and love-starved mothers, in a torn Sápmi. Her poems have been translated into Sami by Elin Anna Labba.
