Ensemble Yria
Since 2008, and with the aim of spreading crossborder children’s culture of high quality, Grammynominated Ensemble Yria has been working with the touring arts and music educational activities all around Sweden.
The ensemble is known for its energy, vocal harmonies and musical adventures. They create colorful and invigorating music productions for children which generate questions, amazement and fantasy. Ensemble Yria comprises:
Britta Forslund, Cecilia Olsson, Sara Ohlzon, Karin Westberg and Madeleine Wittmark, which are all active musicians, composers and music teachers. With their training in eurythmics as a bases in their artistic and music pedagogic work, Ensemble Yria works open mindedly through music and movement. They provide people with different abilities keys to develop in thinking, feeling and becoming more creative individuals.
