Ann-Sofie Back
Ann-Sofie Back graduated from a MA in Women’s Wear at Central St Martin’s in 1998 and has since had her own lines Ann-Sofie Back, BACK and Ann-Sofie Back Atelje. Her work has been featured in magazine’s like Re-Edition, Purple, Self Service, W and Dazed to name a few.
Ann-Sofie has participated in exhibitions allover the world including Nationalmuseum, V&A London, ICA London, Design Exchange Toronto, Somerset House, Liljevalchs, The Design Museum London, Venice Biennale, Musee de la Mode Paris, Palais de Tokio Paris, Goethe Institute NY as well as the catwalk in London and Paris.
She has been awarded Best Designer by ELLE Magazine twice and Damernas Världs Guldknappen as well as runner up for Design of the Year at The Design Museum London in 2015. In 2014 she received The Röhsska design award of one million Swedish kronor.
