David Wall

David Wall is a freelance actor in theatre, film and television. As a
performing artist, he works as a script writer and a director, creating
interactive theatre performances touring in the Nordic countries and
Europe.
The theatre concepts are performed in close interaction with the audience,
the plot is brought to life in the meeting between the text and
improvisational interaction with everyone in the room. The action takes
place around the audience, for an entire evening or longer. The venues
can be places like a hotel, a train, a castle, onboard a ship or out in the
woods.
The audience enter a fictional world, given the opportunity to meet the
characters as well as themselves in an alternate reality. An artistic and a
social process take place between actors and audience, creating a climate
where everyone can interact on their own terms. The concept idea is to
use entertainment as a way of connecting people with widely different
lives and circumstances, aiming for new perspectives and diversity.
The plays on the repertoire are a mix of comedy, drama, music and satire,
highlighting themes like family and loyalty, conservatism and
commercialism, social standing and crossing boundaries – and the need to
escape into different identities.
David is educated in acting at the Stockholm University of the Arts, and in
Educational Drama and Communication at the University of Stockholm.
